BRUSSELS, Belgium, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/NEWSdesk -- STATSnet sprl has today turned the switch for a new and improved version of Counted! (http://www.counted.com), a feature rich and free statistics service for webmasters, again giving the service an edge over the competition.

The new version of Trakkerd, the counter software running behind Counted!, has a lot of new features, making the service more interesting for bigger websites.

• A Real Timezone System (with Daylight Saving Time adjustment) gives webmasters the opportunity to choose their EXACT timezone with or without Daylight Saving Time automatic adjustments.
• Timezone Statistics, based on +/- 12 hours from GMT, give a detailed view of the visitor distribution over the world.
• Language Stats are based on the user agent header of the HTTP protocol. This shows the language the visitors prefer to speak online.
• Visitor Information (things like Visitor's Local Time and JavaScript Version information) can be shown as a total since the last reset or on a day to day basis for the last seven days (plus total).
• Access restrictions now have 2 passwords. The first password gives read and write access. The second password gives read-only access to an owner definable part of the account's statistics. This gives webmasters an easy option to show and prove their statistics to potential advertisers.
• All Weekday Statistics have been improved to let webmasters compare their statistics of the last 4 weeks. They can now see how the site has grown over those 4 weeks with one simple look.
• Counted! now has Link Statistics giving webmasters several options to learn what links surfers click on their site.

The Website itself has also received a face lift.

• The Site List has been improved with an automated Regional System, eg. a dedicated Site List for Belgium or Florida with the same categories as the full Counted! Site List.
• At popular request, a a free eMail service has been installed on Counted!.
• The page people will get to after they click the Counted! button on a webmaster's website will now be the actual category the webmaster chose for his site. This change will increase the return visits to sites in the list. Voting is of course still possible.
